Yin poses are in a sitting or lying position where gravity can do most of the pulling. We disengage and relax our muscles and our minds. Each pose is held for 1-5 minutes. By staying and breathing into sensation, we develop a greater emotional patience and resilience that can be used in the most challenging situations.
By stretching and compressing connective tissue for extended periods of time, we maintain healthy range of motion in the body, even as we age. Yin yoga gives us the ability to age more gracefully! Ideal for anyone that prefers a very
